Section 14 - CHILDREN’S CLASSES

EXHIBITS PLEASE BE IN PLACE FOR JUDGING AT 9PM ON FRIDAY 30TH JULY

Exhibits must be collected on show day between 5pm and 6pm.

The Committee are not responsible for exhibits after 6pm.

Entry Fees in all classes €1.

Prizes are: 1st €15; 2nd €10; 3rd €5.

UNDER 8 YEARS OLD.

CLASS C1-Arrangement of Wild Flowers in a Cup or Saucer.
CLASS C2-Picture by child under 8 years. Theme:My Favourite Animal Max size A4.
CLASS C3- Best Edible necklace made from Fruit/ Vegetables/Sweets.
CLASS C4- Hand-made card.

CLASS C5-Best item of handwriting.

The following piece to be written in ordinary script:

Many, many years ago lived an emperor, who thought so much of new clothes that he spent all his money in order to obtain them; his only ambition was to be always well dressed.

In the morning Abby jumped out of bed and switched on the light in her fish tank. Gerry, the fat orange goldfish, was dozing inside the stone archway. Jaws were already awake, swimming along the front of the tank with his white tail floating and twitching. It took Abby a while to find Mr. Sticky because he was clinging to the glass near the bottom, right next to the gravel.
