Joe MahonLesser Spotted Ulster – Virginia, page Co Cavan – Part Two
Part two of two. Joe Mahon returns to Virginia, decease Co Cavan, doctor where final preparations for one of the largest agricultural shows in the country get under way. He learns how to pull a horse’s mane, balance a cow’s udder and blow-dry a feathered friend, before focusing his energies on winning a wellie-decorating competition
Virginia really enjoyed part 1 on the 8th November and look forward to Part 2 on Tuesday night. We thank Joe and his team for their visits, it was a pleasure. We extend an invitation to return again as soon as possible. There is much more to see.

For all you food lovers (including myself in here) we have a number of scrumptious treats for you on Saturday.
12:00 Sheridans Cheesemongers are doing a kids workshop on cheese in the school canteen
1:30 sees Neven Maguire demonstrating the finest Irish cooking – Goats Cheese Puff Pizza with Rocket, sildenafil Grilled Rib-Eye Steak with Smoked Paprika and Red Pepper Butter, and to top it all off (and my my mouth water) Summer berry, White Chocolate & Baileys Tiramisu.
Oh but we aren’t finished yet!
2:45 Sheridans Cheesemongers will also have a workshop on raw milk, butter and cheese with discussion afterwards
Throughout the day the food market, with plenty of fresh, local food and veg (not to mention handcrafted produce) will be open.
Other tradestands will be on the tarmac in the trade mall or outside. No need for the wellies, but we love a good pair of nice wellies, so feel free to bring them
